Twitterが検索機能の強化を発表しています。
アカウントを検索した際に、その結果に該当するアカウントの最新ツイートを表示するようになるとのこと。

この機能はiOS版、Android版、モバイルウェブ版にて、数日以内に実装予定としています。
最近はGoogleの検索でもTwitterアカウントがヒットした際は、そのアカウントの人気/最新ツイートが表示されますし、それに近い感覚ですね。
地味ではありますが、検索結果の拡充は使いやすさにつながるのではないかと思います。
