5月待つにリリースされたiOS 11.4において、一部のユーザーが標準カメラアプリのディスプレイに映るプレビュー画面が真っ暗になってしまう現象が報告されているようです。

発生した端末はiPhone 6/6s/7などで確認がされたとのことで、カメラアプリを再起動することで復活できるもののまたすぐに再発するそうです。
また他にも真っ暗ではなく、映るプレビューがブレ続けるといった現象もでている模様。

— Niles (@nslemmer) 2018年6月12日真っ暗になった際に撮影ができるのか否かについては言及されていませんが、ブレが起きるのと同じ原因だとすればおそらく撮影はできるのだと思われます。とはいえプレビューがなければ撮影もかなり厳しいと思うので不具合が起きてしまった場合はかなり使用が妨げられそうです。
数としてはそこまで多くはないと見られており、Appleがどこまで緊急に対応するかも不明です。現時点では取り急ぎiPhoneの復元で解消できる可能性が高いようです。
