新Apple Pencilは本体をなぞってのアプリの操作などジェスチャー機能に対応？

　10月30日に行われるAppleのスペシャルイベントにて新iPad Proと共に新しいApple Pencilも発表されるとみられていますが、開発者で度々OS内部情報などからのリークを公開している、Guilherme Rambo(@_inside)氏とSteve Troughton-Smith(@stroughtonsmith)氏が新Apple Pencilはジェスチャー操作に対応すると発言しています。

Apple Pencil 2, model B332, will support gestures. The user will be able to change stroke properties by sliding along the sides of the pencil.

　Apple Pencil本体の側面をなぞることでペイントアプリのブラシのサイズと色を変更できるようになるとしています。

　ただこれがサード製アプリが対応できるのか、するとすればどうやれば出来るのか、ジェスチャーの割当変更は可能か、などは現時点では不明となっています。

　様々なアプリで使えて、機能割当を変えられればアプリを切り替えて作業をスムーズに行ったり、ペンを持ち替えずにそのまま色んなことができそうなのでぜひ実現してほしいですね。
